Job Description:

This PACU RN contract at a Level I Trauma Center offers a chance to work in a fast-paced surgical recovery unit highly proficient in managing complex postoperative patients. You'll be handling patients recovering from a variety of procedures including GYN, GU, colorectal, minimally invasive surgeries, and bariatrics. The role involves managing multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and anesthesia recovery. Shifts are 12 hours overnight, from 1900 to 0730, with rotating start times and a 24-hour call requirement every six weeks. It's a perfect opportunity for critical care RNs seeking a challenging assignment with a focus on postoperative intensive recovery. The setting emphasizes autonomy and expertise, with the chance to fine-tune your skills in a high-level trauma environment.
