Job Description:

Join us for a rewarding travel nursing opportunity in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital Colorado - Colorado Springs. This 14-week contract is perfect for experienced PICU nurses who thrive on specialized pediatric critical care. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, caring for an average of 8-9 patients in a supportive team with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. This assignment offers a chance to deepen your expertise in a high-acuity setting while exploring Colorado Springs, a city surrounded by natural beauty and adventure. You'll experience a variety of patient cases that challenge your skills and keep your work rewarding. Be prepared for some help helping hands across NICU, Med-Surg, and ED units during your time here, and enjoy a schedule that respects your need for time off, with every other weekend free and no on-call duties. This role is an excellent fit for nurses who have at least two years of PICU experience, a current Colorado or Compact RN license, and previous travel assignments under their belt. Active BLS and PALS certifications are required, with preferred credentials including TNCC and ACLS.
