Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 13-week night shift contract in Wilmington, NC. This role offers the chance to work with adult and geriatric patients, managing a variety of medical conditions in a fast-paced hospital setting. You’ll be responsible for providing high-quality care, including handling Heparin drips, wound vacs, and high-flow oxygen, as well as occasionally assisting with BiPap respiratory support. The position is perfect for experienced nurses ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding assignment, with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence. As a critical part of the Inclement Weather Team, you’ll be prepared to work during storms or disaster situations, making an immediate impact in urgent times. This role is suitable for nurses comfortable working independently, possibly in charge, and experienced with EPIC documentation systems. Commitment includes working holidays, weekends, and potential COVID patient care, with a fixed 12-hour night schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM and 48 hours per week.
