Job Description:

This contract opportunity is for an experienced MS RN to work nights in a bustling hospital setting. The role involves covering 12-hour night shifts on a busy 41-bed unit, primarily focused on Med/Surg patients recovering from various procedures and managing complex conditions such as sepsis, COPD, and CHF. You'll be expected to perform a wide range of assessments, handle chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, and manage heparin drips, blood products, and tracheostomies. The work is fast-paced and requires strong critical thinking, resilience, and adaptability, especially as you may be called to float within the skillset to adjacent campuses or units. This assignment offers an excellent chance to use your skills in a teaching hospital environment, with limited patient ratios and dedicated leadership support.
