Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel contract as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Hazard, Kentucky, where you'll be pivotal on a 3 South Stepdown unit. This role involves working 12-hour rotating night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), providing critical patient support in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a minimum of two years' experience in PCU or Stepdown units, ensuring you're well-prepared to handle fluctuating census and complex cases. Expect to be involved in quality patient transitions, with a focus on maintaining safety and stability. You'll float within scope of practice and work every other weekend, contributing to a dedicated team that values adaptability and clinical excellence.
