Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work in a stepdown and floor unit featuring beds for 31 patients — including medical-surgical, cardiac, and orthopedics. As an RN assigned to this department, you'll perform titration of drips, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors. The shift involves 12-hour days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday work expected. This assignment is ideal for experienced nurses comfortable reading EKG strips and managing multiple patient conditions in a fast-paced setting, with a unit that maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 in stepdown and 1:5-6 on the floor.
