Job Description:

Join us for a 13-week travel contract as a Step-down Registered Nurse in Boone, North Carolina, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This role offers an opportunity to experience the rewarding challenge of providing specialized care in a progressive care setting—think of it as the in-between space where patients transition from intensive care but still need continuous telemetry monitoring. You'll have the chance to work with a diverse patient population, including occasional pediatric cases, managing telemetry, IV drips like Heparin and Amiodarone, and collaborating with a seasoned team dedicated to patient recovery and stability. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of IMCU/telemetry experience, proficiency in EPIC EMR, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, floating role with minimal supervision.
