Job Description:

Join our team for a 26-week contract working night shifts in the blood bank department at a prominent healthcare facility in Morgantown, West Virginia. This role is perfect for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) who specializes in blood banking. You’ll focus exclusively on blood bank work, leveraging your expertise in blood type testing, compatibility, and antibody screening. The shift runs from 10:30 pm to 7 am, giving you quiet, focused nights without patient contact. This assignment offers a chance to deepen your blood bank skills while enjoying a supportive orientation and training period. Bring your experience with Epic Beaker, Sunquest, and NEO Iris instruments to the table—you’ll be the go-to specialist for high complexity testing in a fast-paced environment, but rest assured, it’s all about the blood, not the patients.
