Job Description:

This contract opportunity is perfect for a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certified through ASCP or an equivalent organization. You're stepping into a role at the Timpanogos Regional Medical Center's West Lake FSED, working in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Room Laboratory. Your primary responsibility will be performing point-of-care testing within the ER setting, ensuring quick and accurate results that support critical patient decisions. Expect a mix of routine and specialized testing, with the unique challenge of adapting to a high-pressure, stand-alone ER environment. This assignment offers the chance to see the vital behind-the-scenes work that keeps the ER running smoothly, all while working 12-hour night shifts over 13 weeks.
