Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you on the night shift in the Medical Step Down Unit at Marshfield, WI. You'll be supporting patients with neuro-focused diagnoses such as strokes, seizures, and spinal injuries, alongside trauma orthopedics involving hematomas and bleeds. The role involves managing complex drips like heparin, nitro, and insulin, with the possibility of training on ventilator management and trach vent care. You'll collaborate with a charge nurse who often takes a full team and work within a unit characterized by advanced telemetry equipment. Expect to work self-scheduled 12-hour shifts, with an emphasis on rapid response and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced RNs seeking a vibrant setting to showcase their neuro and ICU skills while gaining new competencies in vent and trach management.
