Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract offers an engaging opportunity to work in a Medical/Surgical Step-Down Unit focused on Post Cardiac Care, located in a bustling hospital setting. You’ll be part of a team managing 18 beds with a staff of around 60, including RNs, PCTs, and CNCs. Your shift will be nights, working 12-hour hours on a schedule that includes weekends, giving you the chance to experience the vibrant rhythm of hospital life after hours. Expect to perform drip titrations, monitor patients via EKG and Bipap, and utilize equipment like Welch Allen VS monitors and Alaris IV pumps—no two nights are alike here. This role emphasizes efficiency and teamwork, with a typical patient ratio of 4:1, and requires ACLS and NIH certifications. It’s a chance to sharpen your skills in a high-paced environment that values quality and recognition, including awards like the Daisy Award.
