Job Description:

This registered nurse position places you in the cardiac step-down unit focused on acute leukemia and hematology at a major medical center. You'll work 12-hour rotating shifts, primarily evenings, with the potential for days or nights depending on staffing needs. This role offers a chance to specialize in caring for adult and geriatric patients during a critical treatment phase, managing symptoms and supporting ongoing treatment without chemo certification. Your expertise in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and IV therapy will be essential to maintaining patient stability. The assignment is designed for nurses with at least two years of acute care experience, including a minimum of one year in a PCU setting, and aims to foster growth in infection prevention and fall prevention protocols.
