Job Description:

Join the Acute Stroke Unit at Rochester General Hospital for a 13-week travel nursing assignment as a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a busy, tertiary care environment, providing specialized care to stroke and neurological patients. You will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7, utilizing your skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, and emergency response. The shift is 12 hours overnight (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), including every other weekend work. Your expertise in EPIC charting, ACLS/BLS, NIHSS, and respiratory care will be essential in delivering high-level care within an evidence-based model designed for acute stroke and neurological conditions.
