Job Description:

This contract position calls for an experienced RN to join the PCU Float Pool at Inova Alexandria Hospital. You will be supporting adult inpatient units, with a focus on neuro and cardiac assessments, including telemetry monitoring and medication management such as Cardizem and amiodarone drips. Flexibility is key, as you will be assigned to your primary unit but also expected to float across various inpatient areas like Medical-Surgical, Surgical, Orthopedic, and other related units based on hospital staffing needs. The role offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment where adaptation and clinical expertise are valued, with the opportunity to encounter a diverse patient population dealing with conditions like stroke, arrhythmias, CHF, and respiratory issues. You will be working 12-hour day shifts over a span of 12 weeks, providing comprehensive care and supporting the hospital's commitment to patient safety and quality.
