Job Description:

Join the emergency department team in Albuquerque for an engaging travel nursing assignment as an ER Registered Nurse. This 18-week contract involves working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), where you'll primarily care for admitted patients with a focus on trauma and emergency scenarios. The role offers an opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma facility that includes a dedicated Children's Hospital and short-term acute care, all while collaborating with experienced staff in a fast-paced environment. Travelers with at least two years of Level I trauma experience or recent travel experience are strongly preferred. Be prepared to work weekends and accommodate floating to Adult PCUs or ED Holding as needed. The assignment includes a demanding but rewarding schedule, with guaranteed weekly hours of 48, and potential for overtime after 48 hours per week. Expect a challenging yet satisfying experience managing medication administration, clinical documentation, and clinical assessments using Cerner charting.
