Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you in the Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down Unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, float across inpatient units as needed, and handle a bustling, fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4. Your responsibilities include managing post-op CABG/Valve patients, arrhythmias, CHF, and other complex cardiac cases. It’s a role for a resilient professional with strong cardiac experience, particularly in ICU or step-down settings, comfortable with medications like Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips. Charting in EPIC, quick adaptability, and independent task management are essential. Expect to contribute to a high-energy team, often working every other weekend and holiday, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
