Job Description:

Join a Level I Trauma Emergency Department in Albuquerque, NM, as an ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The shift consists of 12-hour night hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. This role involves primarily managing admitted patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. You'll work within a team that handles approximately 60-80% admitted cases, including trauma patients needing Level 1 trauma experience. Expect to participate in holiday coverage, including two out of three holiday bundles, with weekend work as needed. Prior travel experience and Level 1 trauma background are strongly preferred. The facility requires specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC, with COVID vaccination being optional. You should be comfortable with medication administration, documenting clinical findings, and floating within scope to meet staffing needs. Licensed and ready to start, you will contribute to critical care in a renowned teaching hospital that boasts 554 beds and a Cerner charting system.
