Job Description:

Join us as a traveling Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This 13-week assignment offers a chance to work as a laboratory generalist, performing testing across chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood bank, and phlebotomy. The role involves evening shifts from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., with some floating between different hospital laboratories—so flexibility and adaptability are key. No call is required, and you'll experience a varied workload in a fast-paced environment that keeps your skills sharp. The laboratory setting emphasizes professionalism and teamwork, with a focus on comprehensive testing procedures that contribute to patient diagnosis and care. If you have 1-2+ years of generalist lab experience, including blood bank and phlebotomy, this assignment will let you apply your expertise in a collaborative, supportive setting with a competitive hourly rate of $65/hr.
