Job Description:

This long-term contract opportunity is for a skilled RN specializing in Step Down care at Emory University Hospital’s EUH Cardiology unit in Atlanta, GA. You'll be working in a high-acuity, cardiac-focused PCU environment, providing critical care to patients with complex cardiac conditions. The role involves 12-hour days, three shifts per week, giving you ample time to experience the vibrant city and its surroundings. You'll interpret cardiac rhythms independently, manage an array of cardiac drips, and perform procedures such as catheterizations and stent placements. The unit expects a nurse with at least 18 months of recent cardiac experience and proficiency in telemetry interpretation—an excellent chance for passionate nurses to showcase their skills in a demanding but rewarding setting. This assignment offers the chance to work with highly specialized equipment and procedures, providing a fulfilling challenge for experienced cardiac nurses.
