Job Description:

This step-down registered nurse role offers a rewarding winter contract in Middletown, Ohio, where you'll work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 4x12 schedule. The assignment involves providing specialized care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with opportunities to float across various units, including high-risk respiratory and COVID support teams. You'll be expected to work every other holiday and weekend, with the chance to experience diverse patient cases in a supportive nursing team. Prior to starting, you'll need to pass an online EKG tele-competency assessment and secure the necessary license if not already obtained. This role provides a hands-on experience with EPIC electronic health records, and while the hospital does not require a license in hand to apply, you'll need to have it in place before your start date. It's a chance to hone your skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexible contract options of either 13 or 18 weeks. Expect a weekly gross earning of approximately $2,767, with a 48-hour commitment per week.
