Job Description:

Join a busy surgical unit at a community hospital in Alexandria, VA, where you'll support approximately 15-25 cases daily across a variety of specialties including general, colorectal, orthopedics, urology, plastics, ENT, and more. This role is perfect for RNs experienced in orthopedic procedures, total joints, spine, and DaVinci Xi surgeries who enjoy detailed scrub work in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining sterile techniques, assisting in surgeries, and ensuring smooth intraoperative processes. With a 10-hour shift schedule and a 13-week duration, this assignment offers an excellent chance to refine surgical skills while experiencing the vibrant local scene. The hospital provides scrubs and a comprehensive orientation to prepare you for success in this open 24/7 operation, with designated call responsibilities during evenings and weekends that keep you engaged beyond regular hours.
