Job Description:

Join our team as a Stepdown/Telemetry RN in Henderson, Kentucky, for an engaging 13-week contract. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dedicated 10-bed Stepdown unit within a teaching hospital, where you'll manage a variety of cardiac, surgical, and medical patients, including those with complex drips and ventilator needs. You'll primarily work 12-hour night shifts, with guaranteed hours and a chance to expand your skills with recent Epic charting experience. Expect to float within your skill set, with cross-campus opportunities to rotate to nearby facilities—adding some variety to your nights. This contract is perfect for nurses who thrive on critical thinking and adapting quickly, all while being part of a seasoned, supportive team. No local candidates are accepted, and a current compact license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required to get started. You'll be expected to initiate and titrate IV drips such as insulin and heparin, with preferred skills including PIV insertion and drain management.
