Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in a facility that functions similar to an ICU, but at Emory, it's classified as an advanced PCU with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5. You'll be responsible for caring for post-CABG cardiac surgery patients, many with chest tubes, LVADs, or other complex devices, but notably no vents. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, and the role involves managing a variety of cardiac cases, including rhythm identification tests required upon start. This opportunity offers a mix of challenge and growth, ideal for nurses with at least 18 months' recent experience in cardiac or ICU settings and a valid GA or compact license. The assignment spans 13 weeks, with a weekly gross pay estimated at $2,027.40, and is located at a facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Scrubs are navy blue, and within a 50-mile radius, only non-local travelers are considered.
