Job Description:

Join us as a Step Down Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract at a busy hospital in Beaufort, South Carolina. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:00), with every other weekend and holiday shifts as needed. This role requires a minimum of two years of med-surg experience, including step-down and PCU units, with the ability to float between MedSurg and Stepdown units comfortably. The unit is a 29-bed general surgical and ortho ward, focusing on patient overflow and requiring strong IV skills, BCLS, and ACLS certifications. Please be aware that candidates must be SC licensed and able to work within a 50-mile radius of the facility. You will float to different units as needed, so flexibility and experience in multiple settings are essential. Travel experience is preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome to apply. Scrubs are not provided, so plan accordingly.
