Job Description:

Join a specialized Pediatric Stepdown RN role in Chicago, where you'll work within a unique inpatient unit featuring 39 beds across all pediatric specialties. This unit primarily cares for children with chronic illnesses, including those with tracheostomies and ventilators, with 50-60% of patients relying on various technologies. Expect to handle patients aged 2 weeks to 18 years old, with a focus on tech-dependent care. The assignment involves either 3x12 or 4x12 shifts overnight, offering a chance to experience the vibrant Chicago scene while providing critical care to young patients. Expect to work in a fast-paced, engaging environment where your skills in vents, trachs, G-tubes, and Meditech are essential.
