Job Description:

Join the team as a CVPICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract at OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, OR. This role involves providing specialized pediatric intensive care in a 20-bed unit that handles critically ill children from birth to young adulthood. You will perform bedside procedures such as central line placements, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, intubations, and ECMO cannulations, among others. The shift is 3 days a week, 12 hours each day, primarily from 07:00 to 19:00, with all work performed within the PICU, floating to NICU and pediatric units as needed. Candidates with at least 2 years of PICU experience and appropriate certifications (BLS, PALS, NRP preferred) are encouraged to apply. First-time travelers with PICU experience are welcome. This is a chance to hone your skills in a teaching hospital environment, working alongside pediatric intensivists and a multidisciplinary team dedicated to cutting-edge care.
