Job Description:

This Pediatric CVPICU registered nurse role involves providing specialized care in a teaching hospital with Level I Trauma designation and magnet recognition. You will work 12-hour rotating night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) on a 13-week contract, with a commitment of approximately 36 hours per week. The assignment offers the chance to work in a dynamic pediatric environment with ratios typically 1:1 or 1:2, and includes on-call responsibilities. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in pediatric cardiac surgery or 1-2 years with strong relevant background. Certification in BLS and PALS is required, along with a valid Washington state license or a compact/travel license. Night shifts are scheduled on a six-week cycle, with guaranteed hours and guaranteed weekend shifts. Travelers are encouraged to bring their scrubs in any color or T-shirt that is kid-friendly, and charting is done in EPIC. Expect to become part of a team that values flexibility and clinical expertise, with the opportunity to float within scope to meet facility needs.
