Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for an engaging 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. You'll be responsible for providing direct medical and surgical nursing care to a diverse patient population, including those with chronic illnesses, infections, neurological issues, and mental health disorders. This role involves assessments, care planning, administering IV therapy, managing equipment like wound vacs and feeding tubes, and utilizing electronic health records such as Epic. The assignment offers the chance to work in a large hospital setting with patient ratios typically of 1:5-6, and opportunities to float within the medical units as needed.
