Job Description:

This 17-week travel assignment in Albany, Georgia, places you in a busy hospital setting where you'll work variable shifts totaling 40 hours per week. The role involves supporting a full-service surgical unit with approximately 55-60 cases daily and around 1000 cases each month. You will collaborate with a team of CSTs, RN scrub role (preferred but not required), and charge nurses to ensure smooth operations across 19 suites. Expect to work with meditech EMR, Vents in ICU recoveries, and participate in a rotation of call duties—primarily responding within 30 minutes. The hospital handles a broad spectrum of cases including ortho/neuro trauma, robotics, and some neuro cases, functioning as a level 2 trauma center. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your skills in a fast-paced environment while working closely with surgeons on call 24/7 and supporting various specialties. Reliability, flexibility, and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience are essential traits for success in this position.
