Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in a prestigious Level I Trauma Center located in Oak Lawn, IL, just under 30 miles from Chicago. You will work in an environment that handles approximately 60-75 cases daily, including trauma, transplant, and vascular procedures. The role involves scrubbing, circulating, and supporting advanced cardiac, vascular, and hybrid IR cases in a busy operating room setting. The unique aspect of this assignment is the high volume of adult cases, including open-heart surgeries and hybrid procedures utilizing Siemens equipment. Expect a vibrant, fast-paced atmosphere where your acute care, trauma, and critical care experience will be essential to keeping things running smoothly. This is a 13-week contract with 10-hour shifts, offering a true glimpse into the workings of a top-tier surgical environment.

Job Specifics:

Location: Oak Lawn, Illinois
Shift: 10-hour days, with a schedule rotating across M-Thurs 8/10-hour shifts, including weekends every 4th weekend (Sat-Sun). Shifts typically run from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, 2:45 PM to 7:15 PM, and 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM. The operating room functions 24/7, with coverage required during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
