Job Description:

This behavioral health registered nurse role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dual-floor inpatient unit specializing in mental health conditions, including substance use, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders. You'll manage a wide range of patient behaviors, perform crisis interventions, and utilize de-escalation techniques—sometimes in the midst of a simulated emergency involving chemical restraints or seclusion procedures. The shift is a 12-hour overnight (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) weekend schedule, covering Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with a weekly commitment of approximately 36 hours over 13 weeks. The assignment includes comprehensive orientation and requires proficiency with EPIC, Pyxis, and SBAR systems. This is an excellent chance to apply your specialized skills in a dynamic setting that values teamwork, safety, and patient stability.
