Job Description:

Join a dedicated team in a voluntary addiction rehabilitation unit that specializes in caring for patients rehabbing from substances like alcohol, crack cocaine, and PCP. This role involves assessing detox symptoms, managing medications, and handling medical issues with a focus on patient stability. The shift is scheduled for 8-hour days, providing a predictable routine, and the environment offers opportunities to engage in versatile tasks including phlebotomy and EKGs. While the setting is medication and symptom focused, your hands-on skills in these areas will be essential to support patient recovery during a 16-week contract. This assignment offers a chance to work alongside counselors and other healthcare professionals in a supportive, stable environment that values your clinical expertise.
