Job Description:

Join our team as a CVOR Tech in surgical services for a 14-week travel assignment in Lexington, Kentucky. This role offers the chance to work primarily with heart and lung transplant cases, requiring Level 2 experience with trauma cases and familiarity with both Level 1 and Level 2 procedures. The position involves 12-hour day shifts from 06:30 to 19:00, providing a unique opportunity to gain specialized surgical experience in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted, so this is perfect for professionals seeking an out-of-town adventure focused on advanced surgical support rather than broader patient care interactions.

Weather:

Around this time of year, the weather tends to be mild with warm days ideal for outdoor activities. Expect clear skies and comfortable temperatures, making it pleasant to explore the local surroundings and enjoy outdoor pursuits during breaks or after shifts.

Fun Things To Do:

- Visit the Kentucky Horse Park and enjoy the world-class equestrian exhibits and shows.
- Take a day trip to the Red River Gorge for scenic hiking, rock climbing, and breathtaking natural beauty.
