Job Description:

Join the team at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA, as a CVOR specialty professional for an immersive 13-week assignment. This role involves operating on the 2nd floor of the Main building within a compact unit featuring two OR suites, with a staff of six—including RNs and CSTs—working full days on a consistent schedule. Your main tasks will focus on assisting during complex cardiovascular procedures such as CABG, thoracotomies, valve replacements, endo AAA, and pacemaker insertions, often requiring scrubbing and the use of specialized equipment. You'll work 8-hour days, five days a week, with opportunities for weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call shifts. This assignment is ideal for adaptable, knowledgeable professionals comfortable working in a fast-paced OR setting that emphasizes patient safety and procedure efficiency.
