Job Description:

Step into a vital role as a CVPICU Registered Nurse in Omaha, Nebraska, where you'll be at the forefront of pediatric cardiac intensive care. This 13-week travel assignment involves night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing dedicated support for complex pediatric patients recovering from open-heart surgeries, heart transplants, and dealing with challenging cardiac anatomy. You'll manage invasive cardiac monitoring, including CVP, ART, and RA lines, and may gain exposure to ECMO and CRRT procedures. This unit, which cares for an average of 21 patients per day, values experienced nurses comfortable with vasopressors, cardiac gtts, sedation gtts, and working in a fast-paced yet collaborative setting. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference in these young patients' journeys toward recovery. The role demands 36 hours weekly, allowing for meaningful work and the chance to explore the city when off-duty.
