Job Description:

Join the Aspirus Wausau Short Stay Unit as a dedicated RN for a 13-week travel contract. This role involves providing clinical interview services within an 8-bed observation unit, focusing on conditions like COPD, dehydration, and post-op urology and GI cases. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with floating to inpatient units such as IMC and CTU as needed. Expect to handle a patient ratio of 1:4, interpret EKGs, and manage drips like Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, and Heparin. The assignment offers guaranteed 48 hours weekly, with opportunities to work up to 36 hours of low census hours, billed accordingly. It’s an excellent chance to apply your 3+ years of RN experience, including travel, in a fast-paced setting where adaptability and teamwork are essential. This role offers a blend of clinical skill application and quick-paced decision-making, making each shift engaging and impactful.
