Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a MS/Tele Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit at a reputable community hospital in Lee's Summit, Missouri. This 13-week contract offers a chance to work 12-hour night shifts, with overnight hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. You’ll be caring for post-cardiac angiogram, MI, CVA, and other complex cardiac patients, often floating between departments to meet facility needs. Expect to interpret dysrhythmias, manage IV therapies like PICC lines and heparin protocols, and respond quickly with rapid response teams. The role demands at least 2 years of recent experience—preferably with community hospital backgrounds—and familiarity with telemetry monitoring and emergency cardiac response. Shift flexibility within a 3-shift, 13-week schedule applies, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. It's a day-in-the-life that calls on your technical skills and clinical judgment, all within a supportive hospital setting.
