Job Description:

This travel contract offers an engaging opportunity for an experienced Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse to work in a busy cardiac step-down unit. You will manage adult to geriatric patients with arrhythmias, post-cardiac catheterizations, and various cardiovascular conditions, including CHF and pulmonary edema. The role involves overseeing IV drips such as Amiodarone, Dopamine, and Nitroglycerin, with occasional vascular and orthopedic patient care. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts, floating within the hospital as needed, and adhering to specific protocols for arrhythmia management. This assignment emphasizes critical thinking, quick adaptations, and a focus on cardiac rhythm stabilization in a fast-paced setting. The unique mix of adult cardiac overflow patients ensures you'll stay engaged with a variety of complex cases while working with advanced systems like Epic and Pyxis.
