Job Description:

This 13-week traveling Registered Nurse position offers a unique night shift opportunity working 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) in Madison, Wisconsin. You will be providing care to adult med/surg patients, including those from Department of Corrections facilities, in a secure setting with a focus on telemetry monitoring. The schedule ensures no more than two rotations between day and night shifts within a six-week period unless requested, with a minimum of 36 hours off between night and day shifts. Experience starting IVs, BLS certification (AHA), and Epic system familiarity are required. This role combines clinical skill with an environment that values safety and compliance when caring for both general adult and geriatric populations, including locked wing units with DOC officers present.
