Job Description:

Join the team at Methodist Hospital's Adult PACU in San Antonio for a rewarding 13-week travel contract. As a PACU nurse during this night shift, you'll be responsible for immediate post-operative care in a fast-paced setting with 18 bays and a dedicated staff of 25. Your duties will include managing patient recovery, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring smooth transitions from anesthesia. Expect to work with highly skilled colleagues, requiring a minimum of 2 years PACU experience and ICU-level care competency. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with no on-call duties, providing a clear rhythm to your nights. This assignment offers a weekly gross pay of approximately $1,549.60, with a total of 40 hours per week. You'll be contributing to a team that values proactive, team-oriented professionals in a unit equipped with Meditech Magic EMR and essential recovery equipment. This role provides the opportunity to hone your skills in a specialized environment while exploring the vibrant city of San Antonio.
