Job Description:

This contract position located in Iron Mountain, MI, offers an engaging opportunity to support surgical services in a fast-paced environment. As a Surgical RN, you’ll be scrubbed in for a variety of cases including general, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, podiatry, and cardiology. The role involves assisting with Pre-surgery, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and intraoperative procedures, with an emphasis on keeping cases running smoothly across three operating suites. You’ll be working eight-hour shifts scheduled flexibly between 5:45 AM and 9:00 AM, with call responsibilities that include weekday and weekend rotations as well as holiday coverage. This assignment provides exposure to a diverse case load averaging nine cases daily, offering a comprehensive perioperative experience that will sharpen your skills and teamwork in the surgical suite.
