Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you on night shifts in a sister hospital setting specializing in cardiac and critical care. As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for managing patients with complex cardiac conditions, including those on drips such as Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Heparin. Your role involves reading and interpreting cardiac strips, titrating medications, and assisting in high-acuity cases that require precision and quick thinking. The environment offers a mix of cardiac, CVA, and critically downgraded ICU patients. Be prepared to float to the ICU to lend a helping hand, and participate in a comprehensive orientation with a preceptor to familiarize yourself with specific protocols. You will work 12-hour night shifts, with a commitment of approximately 36 hours weekly, and the hospital provides a supportive leadership team that encourages clear communication and block scheduling. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to deepen your critical care expertise while working in a facility with advanced technology, including electronic health records and around-the-clock physician support.
