Job Description:

This registered nurse position in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit offers a chance to work in a Level II Trauma Center with a dedicated PICU team. You will be providing specialized care for mainly PCICU patients, including those with congenital heart defects, postoperative cardiac cases, respiratory issues, and trauma. Your days will involve managing ventilators, trachs, chest tubes, and central lines, as well as administering medications and performing dressings. Expect a hands-on role that demands quick thinking and precise clinical skills. The assignment includes 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week period, giving you the opportunity to focus on complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment while enjoying a supportive team. This role is suited for experienced PICU nurses who thrive on variety and challenge, with experience in cardiac and neuro cases preferred but not required.
