Job Description:

This 13-week contract places Float Pool RN/PCU StepDown nurses on the night shift at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. You will traverse multiple inpatient units including PCU, Med/Surg, Oncology, Ortho/Neuro, Heart Care, and ICU, providing essential support across the hospital's diverse patient care areas. Float requirements mean you might be asked to work at Oconomowoc Memorial, Mukwonago Hospital, or other affiliated units, including the ED and specialized units like 4E or Cardiac. This position offers a chance to gain broad acute care experience while managing a busy, fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will focus on maintaining efficiency and accuracy in charting (EPIC experience required) and adapting to various unit workflows. Resilience, social engagement, and strong documentation skills are key to success in this role, along with the ability to manage change gracefully and work effectively with a team of professionals.
