Job Description:

Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist in Saint Joseph, MO, for a 13-week contract working 12-hour rotating nights. This role involves delivering respiratory care to patients with diverse conditions such as pulmonary fibrosis, COVID-19, COPD, and respiratory failure. You will perform procedures like bronchoscopy, ventilator weaning, tracheostomy care, and thoracentesis, utilizing equipment like Airvo and IPV. The unit has no other RRTs on shift, giving you independence while working with a wide range of diagnoses. Expect a supportive hospital environment with self-scheduling options, and the opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma and Stroke Center with state-of-the-art facilities and a variety of patient cases.
