Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Wilmington, NC. This role involves providing specialized care on an inpatient cardiac telemetry unit during night shifts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing post-myocardial infarction patients, interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing cardiac drips without titration. This assignment offers the chance to work within a bustling unit that handles complex cardiac procedures like CABG, TAVR, and electrophysiology, with a focus on maintaining patient stability and responding to emergent situations. Night shifts run from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a committed 36 hours weekly, and the unit rotates to accommodate staffing needs. Please note, RTO requests are not permitted after booking, and outcomes may include cancellation if additional requests are made post-confirmation.
