Job Description:

Join a dedicated emergency department team for an exciting travel opportunity in McAllen, Texas. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work in a fully functional ED with a collaborative staff of RNs, Rad Tech, and physicians. Your role will involve managing a diverse patient population, with responsibilities including triage, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting with emergent interventions like chest tubes, central lines, and lumbar punctures. This position provides a chance to apply your skills in a busy, fast-paced environment while enjoying the unique experience of working in a vibrant border city. Expect to navigate patient care across all ages, perform procedures, and support a team that emphasizes strong communication and teamwork—sometimes with a touch of Texan hospitality, of course, and maybe a little music on the side.
