Job Description:

Join our team as an Endoscopy/GI Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract in Leesburg, VA. This role offers a chance to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment, performing specialized procedures in the GI lab. You'll be responsible for assisting with endoscopic procedures, managing patient prep, and ensuring smooth workflow within Epic and EndoWorks systems. The schedule consists of 10-hour days, with no float responsibilities. Weekend and holiday call coverage are required, involving self-scheduled on-call shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, along with limited weekday call. Strong IV skills and adherence to cert requirements—BLS (AHA), ACLS, and at least 2 years of experience—are essential. The setting provides a unique opportunity to develop expertise in GI procedures without long-term care duties, making this a rewarding assignment for experienced RNs looking to expand their skills in outpatient gastroenterology.
