Job Description:

Join a reputable Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) as a travel RN on a 13-week contract in Peoria, Illinois. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with complex post-op cardiovascular patients, including those with CABG, valve procedures, aortic dissections, VADs, and heart transplants. You'll be handling high-acuity cases in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced equipment like IABPs, Impellas, Swan-Ganz catheters, and ECMO. The shift is 12 hours at night, providing a chance to experience the city’s quieter hours while making a meaningful impact in patient recovery and outcomes. This assignment is perfect for experienced CVICU nurses who are confident in interpreting strips, titrating multiple drips, and managing ventilated patients, all with the independence and expertise to hit the ground running.
