Job Description:

This 13-week contract positions a Registered Nurse in the blended ICU unit at a community hospital in Lake Havasu City, AZ. The role involves working 12-hour day shifts, with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours. You will be caring for adult and geriatric patients in a busy ICU setting equipped with Baxter pumps and managed through Medhost EHR. The position requires at least two years of experience, with certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH. Expect to handle complex cases such as STEMI, COPD exacerbation, stroke, and trauma, often requiring collaboration with a collaborative team and participation in ongoing patient monitoring and treatment. The assignment offers a chance to experience the scenic outdoor recreation opportunities and vibrant local attractions of Havasu, with the unique challenge of floating between ICU and intermediate care if needed.
